Pastry chef Alex Ng is very serious about gardening. His garden is bigger than a typical Singapore four-room flat and houses over 40 different types of plants. But his biggest obsession lies in his experimentation of exotic plants, and his latest experiment – to grow and harvest raspberries in tropical Singapore.

Pharmaceutical scientist Jackie Ang has a collection of 4,000 bottles of wine and counting. Based on sight, smell and taste, the certified wine educator is able to decipher a wine’s origin, grape variety and wine making process. But he is pushing himself even further, to become a Master of Wine, a global recognition of one of the highest standards of professional knowledge in the wine industry.
