But, I want to take you further, and clarify for you something you’ve probably often heard about at winery cellar doors or wine tastings, which is French Vs American oak. Many wineries tell you they use one or the other for a particular wine, right? But do you know what it means and why it matters? Because it actually matters quite a lot; it’s not just about patriotism, but more about cost AND taste.
