What does Halbtrocken mean? German Wine Terms Explained.

Halbtrocken, the German term for a wine that is half dry, is explained by Dr. Franz Werner Michel of Domdechant Werner in the Rheinghau. Dr. Michel was the long time head of the German Wine Institute and his estae has been a member of the VDP for eighty years.
