There are a total of 33 Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy (Bourgogne) in various villages along the Cote d’Or. Some are just next to Premier Cru vineyards yet they produce different quality of wine.
We look at all the 33 different Granc Cru appellations from Burgundy, how to pronounce them, where they are and what they are made of, Chardonnay or Pinot Noir, going South to North from Puligny and Chassagne Montrachet, to Gevrey-Chambertin, through Corton, Vosne-Romanee, Chambille Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Morey-Saint-Denis and more.
