Rob Cope-Williams made the trip to Tresillian Wines in Akaroa to discuss wine with Rob Lindsay.
Lindsay discusses their alternative methods of pruning, moving from cane pruning to spur pruning. Spur pruning removes less wood and is thought to encourage stronger and more vertical growth and is also a quicker process.
He also talks to Rob about the different types of wine, how to choose a sweet or dry one and introduces Tresillian’s specialties.
