2019 Pessac Leognan Complete Guide to all the Top Red and White Wines

Winemakers

2019 Pessac Leognan is one of those special vintages when both the red and white wines are good. That is not always the case, as some vintages are much stronger for the red wines, while other years favor the dry white Bordeau wine grapes. That being said, with 2019 Pessac Leognan. I have a preference for the red wines, which show much character, concentration, silkiness, freshness, and complexity. While 2019 Pessac Leognan white wines are good, they do not have quite the level of acidities I seek.

That being said, overall, 2019 Pessac Leognan red wines are strong. They are elegant, complex, vibrant, silky, and refined. Most of the wines, even at the top end will be accessible in their youth, yet at their best, they have what it takes to age and evolve for decades. We covered 2019 Graves red and white wines in a previous post.
