Te Mata Estate was established in Hawkes Bay in 1896 and by 1909, was the largest vineyard in New Zealand. Acquired by the Buck and Morris families in 1978, there followed heavy investment while still utilising the three original vineyards of Coleraine, Awatea and Elston for the production of their finest wines.
Te Mata Estate has become a firm member favourite and we are thrilled to welcome Nick Buck, who became CEO in 2013, to share more of the story of Te Mata and their wines.
