how to make wine at home without using a kit.

How to make wine using Tetley super fruits tea bags. I was quite surprised by the taste of this wine. I was looking for something a bit different to make some wine with and saw these teabags at the supermarket and thought why not give these a try.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pints of Tetley super fruits tea (I used 5 tea bags to make it strong)
1 cup of strong back tea
1kg Sugar
250g Sultanas
1 tsp Pectolase
lemon juice
1 tsp Yeast nutrient
1 tsp Yeast

How to make one gallon of peach and orange flavoured wine.

Make one and a half pints of super fruits tea with 5 tea bags and 1 cup of normal tea. Leave for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes remove the tea bags and add both teas to a fermenting bucket, add the sugar and stir to dissolve. Now add the sultanas.

Next top up with six and a half pints of cold water (8 pints total)

Leave until at room temperature and add the rest of the ingredients and stir well.

Close the lid and leave to ferment for 7 to 10 days until it stops bubbling.

Once fermentation is finished syphon off into a clean vessel.

Now the wine is finished. If you took a lot of sediment with you you may need to syphon it off again in a few days.
