Pairing Wines from Uruguay with Grilled Foods!

Beginner
What do you know about wines from Uruguay? Today, we’ll sample the amazing wines of Artesana winery, pairing them up with some grilled classics!

The country of Uruguay has been making wine for over a century, and they have a secret weapon in their cellars: The rare Tannat grape, which makes deep, rich and bold wines that are great for grilled foods and BBQ. By the way, Grilling is a national pastime in Uruguay.

Artesana is an award-winning leader amongst the wineries of Uruguay, and more unique because they have two women winemakers and many female employees – especially rare in the Latin world. Their wines are now available in the States and well worth seeking out, especially for the grilling season.
