What is Touriga Nacional? Touriga Nacional is an important red grape for the Portuguese wine industry. Originally from the Doa region it is also grown widely in the Duoro. Sara Dionisio of Casa de Mouraz describes the grape’s qualities both on the vine and in the bottle. Sara talked to Ask a Winemaker at Red and White Wines in Chicago in January, 2013.
