This recipe is easy and simple. All you need is:
2 cups of water
2 cups grated beetroot (5/6 small beetroot will be enough)
2 tablespoons of dried or fresh catnip
Mix beetroot and water together in a pan and bring to the boil.
Add the catnip hen reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Strain the contents of the pan using a sieve then leave to cool completely.
