What was the US wine market like in the 1950s? Charlie Barra explains.

Beginner
Pioneering grape grower Charlie Barra talks briefly about the early wine market in the United States and his experience selling to Robert Mondavi off of a handshake agreement. Charlie’s Cabernet Sauvignon from Barra of Mendocino in Ukiah Californa is featured in Pioneer, a Cabernet sold exclusively by Standard Market, Bakersfield and the Standard Grill in Illinois. Askawinemaker is a collaboration between Damien Casten, a wine guy who thinks he knows something about filming winemakers, and Sean Berringer, a film editor who thinks he knows a thing or two about drinking wine.
