Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris

Beginner
Oregon winemaker Brianne Day talks about her experiences with aged bottles of Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Meunier and a twenty year old Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Gris. She describes Pinot Meunier as being earthy, woodsy and full of “wild” flavors. The Pinot Gris from 1994 “doesn’t get boring, it gets really interesting”, with bright, vibrant youthful acid.

Brianne Day sat with Ask a Winemaker in Chicago in 2013.
