Wine and grape grower Charlie Barra of Barra of Mendocino Wines talks about leasing and then buying his first vineyard in Mendocino, California as a senior in high school in 1945. Charlie is a rich source if information on California wine history, being a pioneer in Ukiah for more than sixty years. Ask a Winemaker sat down with Charlie at the winery in Ukiah in 2013.
